Event Description
The 2026 North American meeting of the Economic Science Association will be held at the new Virginia Guesthouse on the University of Virginia campus in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA. The conference will open with a late afternoon welcome reception on Thursday October 29, and it will continue through noon on Sunday November 1. The program will feature contributed and invited presentations, plenary sessions, professional-development opportunities for junior scholars, and a second reception in the garden of the historic Jeffersonian era Pavilion VII on Friday. There will also be an early morning 5k walk/run around the Rotunda dome on Saturday, and later that day, an opportunity for parents, children, and visitors to tour the grounds as students living on the lawn open their rooms for trick or treaters. For air travel, there are regular short direct flights to Charlottesville VA (CHO) from New York LaGuardia, Washington Dulles, Atlanta, Chicago, and Charlotte NC.
